Misha Ge

Misha Ge is Russian, Chinese, Korean, born in the family of art and sport parents. His Grandfather GeSha is famous Chinese Painter and Actor, who also was Figure Skater and Ballroom Dancer. His Father Jun Ge, was a Chinese National Team Skater and later was a Nationals team coach For Singles Skaters, and after for Ice Dancing team. His Mother Larisa Ge, was Soviet Union National Team Skater and later was a Coach and Choreographer. She has been working as Choreographer with many Countries National Teams and her works have been on many World Championships and Olympics. Misha first steps and basics as choreographer is also came from his parents, who was big influence for him since his early days of the skating.

During the Sochi Winter Olympics, Dr Kenzo Kase was visiting the olympic village facilities when he met Misha. Although Misha was trained by his father, he did not have his own physical trainer so Dr Kase treated him using Kinesio Taping Method and Kinesio Tape. Misha was not a stranger to Kinesio Tape, he had Kinesio tape from Japan tournament with him but was surprised and honored to meet the inventor for the first time. Misha didn't miss a day to be treated by Dr Kase, he came to the training room everyday to be taped during the Sochi olympics. That partnership soon became the strong friendship it is today.
