Kinesio Taping® Workshops Now Available
"I love Kinesio Tape, and if you have it applied correctly, you will too!! I have attended 3 of the seminars and will be attending the 4th in a couple of months, it has changed so many of our patient's lives and has helped me. After my car was totaled in January, Kinesio Tape helped me not to miss one day of work so that I can continue to provide care to my patients. I am a true believer in the power of this tape!!!" - Kesha Randall Facebook (Kinesio Tape Official)
THE PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE AT TWO LEVELS
The CKTT® (Certified Kinesio Taping Technician®) is a community outreach program which is designed to introduce Kinesio Taping® specifically the use of Kinesio® Pre-cuts.
CKTT LEVEL 1:
Level 1 is open to everyone 14 and older. During this 2 hour workshop you will be introduced to 5 simple applications (e.g. low back, shoulder, knee, foot and ankle) as well as contraindications for the use of Kinesio® Tape Pre-cuts.
CKTT LEVEL 2:
Level 2 Advanced Training is for personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, and other fitness or movement professionals. Must complete CKTT workshop Level 1 and have an education in exercise, sports or fitness. During this 4 hour workshop you will build on the applications learned from Level 1 and will be introduced to techniques for common sports injuries such as Achilles tendonitis, hamstring strain, groin strain, ankle sprain, calf strain/tear, IT band strain, hip flexor strain, and shin splint applications. Applications for shoulder support and posture enhancement will also be addressed.
After completion of Level 2 you are eligible to take the Certified Kinesio Taping Technician™ (CKTT) exam and, upon receiving a successful passing score (80% or higher) and maintenance of annual KTAI membership you may market yourself as a CKTT.
